The 31st Global Forum on Forest Governance will take place online this Monday 12th July, and Tuesday 13th July.
Sessions include a keynote session from Vice minister Alue Dohong, Ministry Environment and Forestry, Republic of Indonesia; MEP Heidi Hautala, Vice-President, European Parliament; and Minister Rosalie Matondo, Minister for Forest Economy, Government of Republic of Congo.
This will be followed by sessions on:
• Visions for 2030 and how to achieve these
• Due diligence regulations and sustainable trade
• What space for forests and forest-dependent peoples in future land-use scenarios?
• Legal reforms – Progress over the last decade & next steps for achieving climate ambitions
